The United States Golf Association (USGA) has officially opened the application period for the 2027 U.S. National Development Program (USNDP) Grant, providing an outstanding opportunity for competitive junior golfers and their families to receive financial assistance while continuing their development within the game.

The USNDP Grant is designed to remove financial barriers for talented young golfers who demonstrate both financial need and the potential to advance through the U.S. National Development Program pathway. • Tournament entry fees
• Tournament travel
• Equipment
• Practice and green fees
• Coaching and training services

In addition to financial support, grant recipients receive valuable player development resources, including:

• Complimentary access to the Accel Golf performance stat-tracking platform
• Exclusive athlete development webinars presented by the USNDP Coaching and Athlete Development staff

Applications for the 2027 USNDP Grant are open now and will be accepted through October 31, 2026. Families are encouraged to begin the process early by completing the required pre-screening survey before accessing the full application.

Among the primary eligibility requirements, applicants must:

• Be between 13 and 18 years old
• Be a U.S. citizen
• Meet the program's financial need criteria
• Maintain an eligible Handicap Index® and competitive scoring record
