The road to the 2027 U.S. Women's Open Presented by Ally continues to take shape as the USGA has officially opened volunteer registration for the championship, which will be contested June 3-6, 2027, at Inverness Club in Toledo, Ohio.

Approximately 2,000 volunteers will help deliver one of golf's premier championships, serving on 14 different committees that support everything from marshaling and fan services to merchandise, hospitality and volunteer operations. Those interested are highly encouraged to apply early at uswomensopen.com, as early registration increases the likelihood of receiving a preferred committee assignment.

"The success of every USGA championship begins with the commitment and enthusiasm of the volunteers who help bring these events to life," said Allison Burns, Senior Director of the U.S. Women's Open Championship. "Toledo has a rich golf history and a passionate community that will play an essential role in making the 2027 U.S. Women's Open a memorable experience."

Volunteers will work a minimum of four shifts during championship week, with each shift lasting approximately five to six hours. A $185 volunteer package includes official Peter Millar apparel, a championship credential valid throughout the week, access to volunteer hospitality with complimentary food and beverages, commemorative gifts, and other exclusive volunteer experiences.

Fans can also begin planning to attend championship week, as weekly tickets and premium hospitality packages are now available. Daily tickets for the championship will be released later in 2026.

Inverness Continues Its Championship Legacy

The 2027 U.S. Women's Open adds another chapter to Inverness Club's remarkable championship history. The Toledo venue has previously hosted eight USGA championships, including four U.S. Opens, two U.S. Senior Opens, the 1973 U.S. Amateur and the 2019 U.S. Junior Amateur. Legendary champions such as Ted Ray, Billy Burke, Dick Mayer, Hale Irwin, Bruce Lietzke and Olin Browne have all claimed USGA titles at Inverness.

The championship will also become the 43rd USGA championship held in Ohio, reinforcing the state's long-standing role as one of the nation's premier championship destinations with a rich history.
